Haystack near Cannon Beach

It was raining when we got to the coast.  The wind was blowing and it was a little cold.  I walked along until I got close enough to the Haystack to paint the scene.

I sat on a log and set my box on the log in front of me, wishing that I had a working tripod and needing to keep the art box out of the sand.  I started to paint and a small girl came up to me.  She wanted to know if she could have a turn painting when my turn was done.
