Adult lessons
Have a budding interest in art? Are you self-taught and want more guidance? I teach art lessons for beginning and intermediate artists. I provide one-on-one training and demonstrations in order to develop your artistic interests and abilities as I meet with you on a continued basis.
Child lessons
Do you have a child showing an interest in art? I draw on my original curriculum and years of experience as an art teacher at a private school in Northern Lawrence teaching all grade levels. I have developed a full curriculum for all students, primary through senior high. I teach techniques appropriate for my student’s motor skills while inspiring my student to go beyond creating solely craft. I will introduce your child to art aesthetics appropriate to your child’s age level.

Specialty equipment
If you are able to provide access to specialty equipment, other mediums (two and three dimensional) are possible such as stain-glass, clay sculpture, and wheel-thrown pottery.

Don’t know what to get that special someone in your life? Have a difficult-to-buy for spouse? Give the gift of art or photography lessons: either a single lesson or a package of them. Or why not make it a unique date? Past students have made my art classes part of a special night for them and their significant other. Custom gift certificates are available for every occasion.
Team building activities
Art as a team building activity can improve group communication and problem solving skills. It can create an elevated team spirit while adding creativity and if you choose to–beauty to your workplace. Your group will work together to create a unique project that participants will feel proud of and can discuss the creative process. I can help your group come up with inspiration and implement your ideas or you can suggest your own idea. I have taught small groups up to 20 people and look forward to serving your organization.

I live in north central Indianapolis. Downtown Carmel and Indianapolis are less than 25 minutes away. Outdoor lessons can be scheduled if the weather is pleasant or you can work at my studio in my home. Most of my students have chosen to work at my studio.
