SUMMER CLASSES

AGES 10-17: Interested in a week long art class this summer?

Adult lessons

Have a budding interest in art? Are you self-taught and want more guidance? I teach art lessons for beginning and intermediate artists. I provide one-on-one training and demonstrations in order to develop your artistic interests and abilities as I meet with you on a continued basis.

Child lessons

Do you have a child showing an interest in art? I draw on my original curriculum and years of experience as an art teacher at a private school in Northern Lawrence Township teaching all grade levels. I have developed a full curriculum for all students, primary through senior high. I teach techniques appropriate for my student’s motor skills while inspiring my student to go beyond creating solely craft. I will introduce your child to art aesthetics appropriate to your child’s age level. Currently, I am only accepting students age 6 or older.

Scheduling

For Winter/Spring 2014, I taught regularly-scheduled classes on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday only, but most days was available for teaching workshops and special occasions (including Friday and Saturday) unless they conflicted with a prior commitment.

Pricing

Private classes typically cost $35 per hour. There is often a waiting list for private class times in the evening. Private classes are tailored to each student’s needs on a week by week basis. Morning and day class times are often easier to reserve. Group classes are less flexible in the time that they meet, but are less expensive than private classes. A group class typically has only a few students. There is a small material fee unless the student supplies their own materials. Please complete the short form below or call me at 317-379-2813 for a more specific cost and details. To go ahead and secure lessons without specifying a time or location, visit my online store and purchase classes with a credit card. For multiple sessions, please increase the quantity.

Payments accepted: PopMoney, Paypal, check (local purchases), credit card, and cash

Art as a team building activity can improve group communication and problem solving skills. It can create an elevated team spirit while adding creativity and if you choose to–beauty to your workplace or civic group.
