My husband caught me enjoying a beautiful afternoon and working on a flower study.
This was the second painting of the day at the Converse paintout. Â I had to shift positions because of a complaining side kick, overly friendly kitten, and rain, which is a threat to my water-soluable paint.

I set up for this painting in a side path at Fort Harrison. Â While I was painting, rain was threatening. Â After I got the first block in of the painting complete, I took a break to look at my weather app on my phone and saw that there was a large storm moving through Indianapolis.
