I place my wet paintings in the back window of our car when I am traveling so that they can dry. Â This painting was sitting in the back when Beth walked by and saw it. Â It was Beth’s birthday and she recognized the place along the Oregon coast where it was painted. Â She bought it and took it home. On this brisk morning, I turned and saw the beauty of warm color that receded as the rocks got further away.
