An old building hidden behind bushes and trees on a deserted road. A quiet and peaceful place on a cloudy winter day.

Every place and every season has it’s color scheme and the colors of a Kentucky winter can be surprisingly enchanting with golds and oranges set against greys and greens.

The pattern of the clouds drew me into the scene on the edge of the water.
It was early morning and I saw this scene on a small lake as I drove by. I cam back and parked and worked quickly to try to capture the colors that were changing slower then usual at this time of morning due to the cloud cover.
