Fort Harrison Pathway

I set up for this painting in a side path at Fort Harrison.  While I was painting, rain was threatening.  After I got the first block in of the painting complete, I took a break to look at my weather app on my phone and saw that there was a large storm moving through Indianapolis.

It was starting to sprinkle so I packed up and headed back to my car, and it poured a little on my walk back. I had my painting companion with me, he had been asleep, but woke up on his ride back to the car. When I got to the car it stopped raining! Oh, well. My light was slipping away and there was no going back. Later I finished the painting in the studio.
